HPC COATING — Hot Pipe Coating, ceramic insulation
Water-borne ceramic insulating coating for hot equipment. Service to 204°C / 400°F (HPC standard); HPC-INT to 426°C; HPC-HT to 650°C.
HPC COATING
HPC® (Hot Pipe Coating) is a water-borne, ceramic-based insulating coating that blocks conductive and radiant heat transfer on hot pipework, vessels, furnaces, boilers, and heat exchangers. The standard HPC® formulation services up to 204°C (400°F); HPC®-INT extends the range to 204–426°C (400–800°F); HPC®-HT covers 426–650°C (800–1200°F).
Reduces energy consumption, prevents corrosion under insulation (CUI), and provides personnel-protection by lowering accessible surface temperatures. Field-validated savings: a Georgia-Pacific digester reduced heat loss by 49% and saved an estimated $332,000/yr (EPA ENERGY STAR Award). Applies via texture sprayer to in-service equipment.
