NASA-developed ceramic-membrane coating that reflects heat and reduces surface temperatures.
A water-based ceramic coating originally developed for spacecraft heat shielding. Reflects up to 95% of solar radiation and provides effective thermal insulation on roofs, tanks, and process equipment.

SUPER THERM® reduces surface temperatures by 30-40 °C ( 54-72 °F) on average in full sun conditions. In tested projects, surfaces reaching 75-80 °C ( 167-176 °F) before coating dropped to 40-45 °C ( 104-113 °F) after application. Results depend on coating color, layer thickness, sun angle, and substrate type.
SUPER THERM® works differently from traditional insulation - instead of absorbing heat, it reflects 96.1% of solar radiation. Advantages: thin profile (0.3–0.5 mm vs 5–10 cm), lightweight, waterproof, UV resistant, and simple application. Ideal where traditional insulation is impractical.
Typical coverage is 95 ft²/gal ( 2.3 m²/L) per coat on smooth surfaces. For rough or porous surfaces, coverage will be lower. We recommend applying 2-3 coats for optimal performance.
Yes, SUPER THERM® can be applied over most existing coatings provided they are stable, clean, and well-adhered. Surface must be cleaned of dirt, grease, and loose material. For silicone or Teflon-based coatings, special preparation is required. Adhesion testing is recommended before full application.
SUPER THERM® is designed to last 20+ years under normal conditions. Projects completed 15+ years ago still show excellent performance. Lifespan depends on proper surface preparation, number of coats, chemical exposure, and routine maintenance. We recommend annual visual inspection.
Yes, SUPER THERM® is approved for use on surfaces in contact with drinking water. It meets NSF/ANSI 61 standards for products in contact with water. Application on water tanks reduces solar heating, maintains lower water temperature, and prevents algae growth. Recommended for external application only.
Typical ROI is 2-4 years, depending on project size, local energy costs, and sun hours. In buildings with high cooling loads (warehouses, factories, commercial centers), payback can be faster - 18-24 months. Accurate ROI calculation requires analysis of current energy consumption and site conditions.
For large projects, airless spray with 60:1 ratio, 0.021-0.025 inch tip, and 2500-3000 PSI pressure is recommended. For small areas, standard brush or roller application works well. No special equipment needed beyond standard painting tools. Important to mix thoroughly before use and maintain uniform coat thickness.
SUPER THERM® contains high-performance ceramic beads at 85% concentration, compared to 40-60 % in other products. It holds NASA, UL, and MIL-SPEC certifications, with 500+ proven projects worldwide. Advanced formula ensures excellent adhesion, flexibility, and long-term UV resistance. Consistent measured results in all conditions.
