The problem

High-temperature process equipment — steam piping, stacks, heat exchangers, retorts — faces three simultaneous challenges: large energy loss through surfaces, personnel-safety risk in proximity, and corrosion under insulation (CUI) that threatens plant integrity.

The solution

We offer two coating families by service temperature: Standard HPC COATING® to 204°C; HPC-INT to 426°C; HPC-HT to 650°C — for hot piping and heat exchangers. HSC COATING® for ultra-high temperatures up to 982°C — for stacks, exhausts, and combustion vessels. Water-borne, environmentally friendly, and spray-applied.

Results

Measurable reduction in surface energy loss, documented 20+ year thermal stability, and CUI prevention on traditionally insulated equipment. Deployed in oil & gas, power generation, and plastics manufacturing worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

  • When to specify HPC vs HSC?

HPC fits insulated process equipment up to 650°C — steam piping, exchangers, retorts. HSC fits ultra-high-temperature exposed equipment up to 982°C — primarily stacks, exhausts, and combustion vessels. We’re happy to advise from your equipment datasheets.

  • How does the coating handle thermal cycling?

The ceramic-membrane structure has been field-validated on cyclic process equipment. Micro-scale structural flexibility prevents cracking and peeling.
